The American Library Association's Banned Books Week (this year: September 29-October 6) is a yearly event held to encourage readers to fight censorship and to enjoy the books which have been challenged over the last years (yes, Harry Potter still makes the top of the list). In the face of Strikethrough07 and all the other craziness that has been going on this year on lj, events like these make me happy. As does this nifty bag which you can order here.
