grinning_soulSteven Moffat's Twitter post after the episode: "Yes of course there's going to be a third series - it was commissioned at the same time as the second. Gotcha!" Fool me once, is all I'm saying (see my last post)! Moffat and Gatiss are such canon-fans, there was no way they would have done it differently. But: Very suspenseful and emotionally satisfying episode. Relief! Favourite moment: The "side of the angels" bit on the rooftop. Very Snape-ish, it has to be said.
ETA: It just occurred to me: The Doctor faking his death is pretty much stolen from Conan Doyle.
